High-quality architecture and numerous construction and design works in Denmark as well as abroad have positioned Friis & Moltke A/S among the leading Danish architechts since the establishment of the company in 1954.

For a number of years Friis & Moltke have been committed to building designs affecting and exciting the senses. Especially in the 1970’ies Friis & Moltke designed several buildings built of raw concrete, wood and steal.

The buildings are sparse with colours and preparation, but on the other hand adding to our sensuous experiences. Rustic materials are frequently used and Hotel Føroyar still has this rustic appearance, especially walls and stairs.

A sensible emphasis between function, design and economy – added a share of originality – has characterized their work which has been awarded numerous prizes in the course of time.
